General Information



Lindsey Manufacturing Co. has been designing and manufacturing the highest quality transmission and distribution line hardware since 1947.

All Lindsey line hardware is designed using the latest computerized techniques and utilizing the combined experience of our engineering staff of mechanical, electrical and chemical engineers. All of Lindsey's line hardware is:



 Engineered, designed and tested to exceed all customer and industry performance specifications.
  Engineered for rapid and cost effective construction.
Designed for safe and fast live line
maintenance using both ceramic
and non-ceramic insulators (NCIs).

Lindsey Manufacturing Co. is ISO 9001-2000 certified for the:
"Design and Manufacturing of T&D Hardware"

All of Lindsey's load rated hardware is destructively LOT tested in accordance with IEEE-Standard C135.61 "IEEE Standard for the Testing of Overhead Transmission and Distribution Line Hardware". This is written into Lindsey's ISO quality procedures.

We break parts, so you won't!


Lindsey has complete in-house destructive testing capabilities
up to 300,000 lbs, and magnetic particle and dye-penetrant
non-destructive testing capabilities.
  Lindsey can package to your specifications, by component or by the entire tower assembly.


Lindsey has the design experience and capabilities to produce customized hardware designs to your requirements, such as the ones shown below:


A compact 115kv low EMF transmission line with all hardware
assemblies completely hot-stickable.
A 500kV, 300,000lb river crossing dead end assembly.
